Dolly Parton's Imagination Library of Ohio

The Ohio Governor's Imagination Library is now Dolly Parton's Imagination Library of Ohio. Besides the new name and logo, everything else remains the same. The Imagination Library provides young children a free book every month from birth to age five. Families in any Ohio county may enroll their young children in this program as early as birth. This opportunity is FREE for families.Dolly Parton's Imagination Library of Ohio logo

The Imagination Library is reaching children in all 88 counties thanks to the support of Ohio's public libraries and other early childhood literacy partners. Currently, 326,433 children are enrolled statewide (this is 45% of kids in Ohio between birth and age five).

New flyers/handouts, and a map that shows the percentage of kids enrolled in each county, are available on the Ohio Library Council’s website, along with the recording of a 2021 webinar about library programming and the Imagination Library. Thank you for your work to promote Dolly Parton's Imagination Library of Ohio to parents and caregivers in your community!
